    • Your tasks

    In the role as Customs Specialist & Business Developer for Cold Chain solutions - you will:

  • Manage assigned customers agreements and budget base; pursue and secure Existing and New business within customs clearance in line with the business objectives.
  • Build a good understanding of target customers and the assigned account base.
  • Support our overall Cold Chain strategy and support the Cold Chain Global Account Manager to succeed where needed.
  • Work closely with the local product organization both within Cold Chain Management and Customs Clearance product to grow volumes and revenue together.
  • Probe and identify customer Transport/supply chain needs and provide competitive logistics solutions.
  • Communicate significant trends, rate changes and policies to assigned accounts.
  • Research and understand the Cold Chain territory to identify and establish business contacts with potential customers.
  • Analyse competitive and industry trends together with the Cold Chain team
  • Ensure customer relationship management tools are updated in time with quality data (Salesforce)
  • Travel - along the Norwegian coast and meet customers face to face weekly,
  • Have regular days in our office at Lysaker to meet and connect with colleagues.

    • Your Profile

    To be successful in this role, we believe you bring the following experiences and competencies::

  • Professional experience with Customs Clearance is essential.
  • Experience with shipping and logistics and broad knowledge of the market is preferred.
  • Track record of success around closing Customs, Air, LCL, Ocean and Landside business and experience with local decision-making organizations.
  • Understanding of customer requirements and their concerns
  • Service and customer orientation
  • Strong communication skills (written and presentation skills)
  • Independent action as well as an entrepreneurial mindset and commitment
  • Preferably knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM tools
  • Native Norwegian, very good English
