We are in the process of immigrating as my Fiancé has been offered an internal international opportunity in Oslo, Norway. And therefore, I am currently in the market to relocate and start a new career, she has accepted an internal transfer we will be immigrating at the end of August 2023. 

Just a little bit about me. I started off my IT career after completing my studies in 2003 as an MCSE, MCSA, MCP. Starting off with basic Systems Support and General IT services. I quickly realized my passion for the Information Technology Sector. I then advanced into the position of a Senior Support and Network Administration roles in a large International Organization where my skills and abilities were not only tested but grew exponentially. 

I then progressed to being a Senior Systems Specialist where I found a passion for MS Exchange. I therefore my next career move was to become the Migration Specialist for the Governmental Department of Home Affairs of South Africa, I successfully migrated the entire staff compliment of over 12 000 users and more than 500TB of data from Lotus Notes to MS Exchange as well as being the pioneer on the project of planning and implementation of the new Identification Card for South Africans as well as introducing the first ever Bank Identity Stations situated in Banks and using an online platform to make bookings, as opposed to having to go stand in queues at a Department Branch. 

At the same time, I got requested by the Governmental Department of Justice of South Africa to migrate MS 2010 over to MS 2013 which was a great success. After these projects had been completed, 

I was headhunted by Healthbridge as the Senior Exchange Systems and Infrastructure Specialist with the initial purpose of doing the MS Exchange and Office upgrade from O2013 into O365, but after kicking off the company decided to rather go Google Cloud Platform. I worked side by side with the Migration Specialists from Google South Africa to successfully migrate the company's Email as well SharePoint into G Suite Cloud Platform. Once this project was completely successful a division of Google South Africa DotModus required a Migration Specialist to run GCP and various Migrations from Microsoft to GCP. 

It was at this time that I realized that the shift to Cloud Based Platforms is the way forward. While working at DotModus I recognized that there would be great value in having me cross-skilled across all platforms as to increase the reach for the business with customers using the last major cloud provider being AWS, which is when I then got qualified as an AWS Certified Cloud Solution Architect Associate. 

Currently I am working at DPO / PayFast.io / Network International as the Senior Infrastructure Administrator. Key resposiblities being all things Azure,Exchange, AD InTune and AWS Production Systems.A little bit about myself, I am a very energetic, fun and outgoing person. Highly motivated and driven. I am very passionate about all the things that I do in life as well as in the workplace. I am very sociable and friendly and enjoy working with others on projects or being able to make a valuable contribution by helping others with problems.  Thank you for taking the time reading my bio and I hope that I managed to convey even just a small part of my history and who I am, and it would be a great pleasure to hear from you.
