Shaista Hassan

I, Shaista Hassan, am a native Pakistani and have been residing in Norway for the last 15 years. I am a Norwegian passport holder. My most recent experience is as an interpreter/ translator where I Interpret/translate interviews from Norwegian into Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi. 

Apart from this I also work as a senior interviewer at Oslo International Airport. Working in an international environment has polished my skills as self-motivated and target oriented team player where I take initiatives and set my targets. Very often I achieve or exceed my goals. Moreover, a hectic place like airport has built my stamina to control the pressure with professionalism.

I have also managed a fast food restaurant in the Oslo region where I have gained a lot of valuable customer service skills in sales and building relationships with customers. I know good communication & negotiation skills are the secret of getting more satisfied customers

I have a strong educational background and a confident telephone manner. I am very hard working, energetic person. I am now keen for a new challenge as I like to keep learning, and after getting to know about National Pens Ltd, I’m very eager to experience more. 

Interpreter / Translator/ Semantix 2017 - present 

• I am working as an interpreter/Translator with Amesto AS now Semantix in collaboration with health, social and police sectors. 
• Translations between Norwegian and Hindi 
• In addition, I am collecting data by interviewing passengers at Oslo airport since 2010.

• I was responsible teacher of math for 8th grade, taught math and science to 8 and 9 classes.

● In addition to the above I also received one-month training of Flight Information from PIA Airlines and served as Facilitation Supervisor for 3 years in Pakistan's Civil Aviation Authority.
