- Assess service delivery requirements, ensuring personnel and technical resources are available to undertake operations in line with clients' requirements.
- Proactively communicates operational performance, challenges and support requirements to management teams
- Consistently promotes a one team culture, communicating and supporting all area initiatives and teams
- Utilizes technical and/or operational expertise to provide service delivery support to operational teams
- Oversee monthly invoicing, ensuring that invoices are accurately populated and submitted in-line with local KPI's.
- Demonstrates effective Safety leadership at all times in line with organisation's commitments and initiatives. Continuously mentoring direct reports
- Proactively involved in operational investigations, using Root Cause Analysis within company systems for areas well construction
- Address QHSE and Reliability issues at the time of their identification and implement the appropriate strategies in conjunction with appropriate management matrix that maintain QHSE awareness throughout the workforce
- Isolate and initiate the training as required for field personnel and direct reports, maintaining the necessary balance between the area's operational requirements and individual development needs
- Initiates and leads the recruitment process of direct reporting positions
- Executes operational tasks as directed by the Operations Manager.
- Liaise with client, internal operational and management teams as and when required to ensure all aspects of the operations are discussed with the relevant parties, promote open communication channels within the team, allowing continued safe and efficient operations to be conducted
- Actively adhere to the Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery policies, procedures and processes to ensure the highest ethical standards are maintained and exposure to liability or risk to Expro's reputation is minimised. Provide leadership in all ethical issues; ensure employees are aware of Expro's compliance requirements and feel able to report possible violations or conflicts of interest
- Actively comply with all applicable Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and processes. Promote HSE awareness; take responsibility and be accountable for own safety and safety of others. Demonstrate the personal application of HSE procedures in daily performance and always follow the 10 Safety House Rules
- Ensure that employees adhere to and comply with all applicable Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and processes. Provide leadership in HSE; encourage employees to take responsibility and be accountable for their own and others' safety and provide an environment where they feel authorised to stop any unsafe job. Ensure that all incidents and non-conformances are reported in line with the appropriate procedures and deadlines; ensure that all incidents are investigated and corrective actions raised as required; where appropriate, participates in incident investigations
- Supervise, mentor and coach direct reports and ensure completion of their Employee Development Plans. Where applicable, ensure that training and competency programs are in place to facilitate the mentoring of subordinates through the competency system. Conduct competency assessments when required
- Ensure objectives set under Employee Development Plan are met
- Engineering / Business Bachelor`s degree or 7+ years Oil and Gas Experience, Well Construction preferred.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills with an ability to balance and prioritize competing interests
- Proven people-management, organizational and team skills
- Excellent influence and communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to accurately assess, solve, implement, and communicate solutions to problems financial understanding (budget and forecasting)
- Proficient in MS365 Packages
- Knowledge of SAP, preferred but not essential

Expro are currently recruiting for a Operations Supervisor to join the Tubular Running Services team based in Stavanger.
Overall Purpose of the Job
To supervise the smooth and efficient running of all operations for Well Construction product line in the area of responsibility. Responsible for ensuring the manpower and technical requirements e.g. the movement of equipment, materials and personnel to ensure actioned in line with clients' requirements and company standards.
