    Main Task and Responsabilities:

  • Product responsible for all the RRC products and their lifecycle, with exception of electronic modules
  • Responsible for the mechanic tasks in development projects, including design and 3D modelling.
  • Perform tasks given by the R&D manager according to given limits.
  • Report to R&D manager when critical issues concerning the products occur.
  • Gather information from market, sales, technical areas, Cavotec Product Manager's for use in future product and strategies.
  • Control improvement and maintenance of products.
  • Interface between Cavotec Product Manager's and R&D dept. regarding non-standardized solutions. (QA-020 Change Approval Request).
  • Responsible for the complete RRC system specification and architecture.
  • Responsible for the CAR system (QA-020 Change Approval Request).
  • The Product Responsability Includes:

  • Release of new products and upgrades of existing products. Handover from R&D to the rest of the organization.
  • Take part in the development process of new products to ensure important issues regarding the product's lifecycle are included.
  • Technical follow up of sub suppliers in cooperation with QA and purchase dept.
  • Be updated on relevant standards regarding our products in close cooperation with the approval manager.
  • Responsibility for changes and extension of the products. Details described in QA-020 CAR.
  • Lifecycle management. This implies qualification of components, end of life, analysis for decisions etc.
  • Part of customer specific projects if there are deviations from our standard.
  • Requirements:

  • Experience within mechanical design and 3D modelling, preferably also some within HW and compliance.
  • Preferably 2-5 years of experience.
  • Recent graduates can be relevant.
  • Candidates not in line with the requirements described above will not been taken into consideration.
