    ABOUT THE POSITION IN ABBOTT

    Abbott Rapid Diagnostics AS is part of Abbott Diagnostics, bringing together teams of experts and industry leading technologies to support diagnostic testing which provides important information for treatment and management of diseases and other conditions.

    The Masterdata and Inventory analyst performs a variety of functions in accordance with Abbott's Master Data Governance policies and procedures in alignment with MDR & IVDR Regulations. Primary responsibility is to coordinate the collection, maintenance, accuracy, stewardship, semantic consistency and accountability of the enterprise's official shared Master Data assets including customers, suppliers, products and Pricing in the core business systems. The Masterdata and inventory analyst analyzes data and works with internal departments and commercial business units to resolve data issues and carries out system updates as necessary in line with defined data standards.

    The position of Masterdata & Inventory Analyst is within our Cardiometabolic and informatic buisness unit located at Hagan site, Norway. The role will contribute to maintaining and strengthening good relationships, with particular focus on collaboration across departments.

    Responsibilities

  • Assume ownership and responsibility for accuracy of all customer, vendor, pricing and product data in core systems.
  • Manage a smooth workflow of data from various sources and gathering this information in the correct format in line with defined SOPs.
  • Adherence to defined Abbott Data Standards and work instructions and updated where applicable in accordance with MDR and IVDR Regulations
  • Introduction of New Product Introduction process in accordance with MDR/IVDR regulations.
  • Work with internal departments and local users on any Master Data related projects to ensure progressive development and accuracy of data.
  • Liaise with Abbott stakeholder, external suppliers or account managers to ensure that work is neither overlooked nor duplicated by related projects (mainly cross-BU new product introduction projects and/or other projects as assigned)
  • Engage with Implementation partner and third party vendors as required.
  • Initiate regular data audits to identify any discrepancies and inconsistencies.
  • Review and update the defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to ensure their accuracy in reflecting the day-to-day business and ensure they are aligned to MDR/IVDR requirements.
  • Carries out duties in compliance with established business policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrates commitment to the development, implementation and effectiveness of applicable Quality Processes as per ISO, FDA, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal/external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies and practices.
  • Responsibility to understand and maintain awareness of the quality consequences which may occur from the improper performance of their specific job.
  • Business cases and profitability analysis.
  • Work with analyzes, address deviations and problem areas, identify solutions and communicate and implement these in the organization
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
  • Minimum qualifications / education / experience

  • Bachelor's degree in economy, accounting, or equivalent,
  • Master's degree in economy, accounting, or equivalent,
  • 3-5 years experience within a similar role
  • Good IT skills, including Excel
  • Knowledge in data quality improvement
  • Preferred qualifications

  • 2-3 years experience within a similar role
  • Experience on an ERP system such as (SAP)
  • Excellent admin and IT skills, proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the hosting of virtual conference meetings (conference calls, virtual rooms).
  • Personal competencies

  • Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and Business English; in writing, reading and speaking
