    About The Role

    Exciting opportunity for an experienced Product Manager to join our Product Management Team in the Nordics. Take a key role in defining and delivering our customer information system's product vision, strategy, and roadmap to meet the needs of Hansen and its customers. The position has overall ownership of our customer information system R&D, including strategy, ideation, business case, delivery coordination and governance. The role will report to our Head of Product.

    About You

    You're someone who is:

  • Experienced in enterprise product ownership and promotion from a vendor perspective.
  • Strong expertise in IT systems, application hosting and Azure Cloud technologies.
  • Strong relevant experience in the energy and utilities sector.
  • Excellent communicator (verbally, written, presentations) in Norwegian and English.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Confidence, executive presence, influence skills and track record of building strong trust with customers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborative team player who is consultative, engaging, and effective in achieving results through other people.
  • Structured and able to manage multiple tasks, timelines, backlogs, communication plans, deliverables.
  • Very proactive in being ahead of the curve, leading our customers and supporting our delivery teams in doing the same.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a vision, strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle (including release cycle) for our products' hosting journey, that can be rolled up or detailed sufficiently to support marketing, sales, customer engagement,delivery, and support purposes.
  • Maintain a current knowledge of relevant industry trends, competitive intelligence, and customer current/future requirements, as they relate to current or potential Hansen products.
  • Translate product management insights and objectives into people relevant contexts and ensure that all staff understand and are passionate about delivering the vision.
  • Governance and alignment of R&D and Client Requests with Product Direction, including the coordination and design of client-requested features to be aligned with a standard product.
  • Coordinate the ideation, development, and approval of business cases for R&D initiatives including monthly and quarterly reporting of approved R&D programs of work to key R&D stakeholders.
  • Develop, prioritize, and maintain backlog of R&D candidates, in collaboration with engineering and delivery managers, sales & account management and CTO office.
  • Bid management and pre-sales of new logos and assigned major client opportunities.
  • Promote / evangelize Hansen and products internally, with customers and support Hansen team members to do the same.
  • Interfaces with marketing on industry and field requirements and the development of Business Cases and/or Marketing Requirements Definition
  • Assists Sales and Product Marketing with white papers, trade shows and corporate visits where required.
