    About The Role

    The Growth & Operations Manager role is part of our Northern Europe rides organization, working closely with the General Manager for the Nordics to drive Uber's growth and success in Norway.

    This hands-on position requires a unique blend of customer obsession, data-driven analytics, critical thinking, and strong execution skills. You will have to think creatively to continuously enhance Uber's value proposition for riders and drivers, and optimize their experience of using the Uber app in Norway.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Drive Business Growth and Development in the Norway market
    • Craft and implement strategies for driver partner acquisition and engagement through data-centric analytics, creative campaigns, and partnership programs
    • Develop and lead conversion strategies for riders, focusing on new user acquisition and existing rider engagement
    • Build and manage strategic partnerships with larger fleets of drivers, developing a compelling value proposition
    • Lead multiple projects in the Norway business, communicating progress and challenges with senior stakeholders
    • Collaborate with local, regional, and global teams to drive cross-functional success

    Requirements

    • At least 4 years of experience in a technology, consulting, or other fast-paced operational environment
    • Fluent in Norwegian and English
    • Analytical skills: Ability to extract insights from various data sources (SQL, data analytics, visualization skills preferred)
    • Project management skills: Proven understanding of project fundamentals and ability to implement projects
    • Business Insight: Understanding of how Uber operates, generates revenue, and sustains profitable growth
    • Communication skills: Clear delivery of information to diverse audiences
    • Planning and Organization: Establishing processes and tools to structure and track tasks and projects
    • Problem Solving: Efficiently resolving issues involving people, things, and processes
    • Partner Management: Building relationships and earning trust within the organization
    • Teamwork: Demonstrating optimism, respect, and collaboration in a team environment
    • Ability and willingness to travel up to 20% of the time, primarily within Norway, Sweden, and Netherlands
