    The role

    will involve daily exposure to our clients and Cognizant senior management and, although this role will be part of the EMEA commercial legal team, you will work very closely with Cognizant's legal, business and other teams around the world.

    Your Key Result Areas

    • Provide legal advice on commercial legal matters in the Nordic region and take a lead role in customer bids and negotiations.
    • Manage internal and external lawyers supporting on matters in the region.
    • Monitoring local legislation and assess its potential impact on Cognizant's operations.
    • Work in a matrix organization, collaborating and managing stakeholders both horizontally and vertically.
    Required & nice to have Skills Must Haves:1.) A law degree from a recognized institution and qualified to practice law in a Scandinavian jurisdiction, with a proven understanding of contract law and practice in civil law jurisdictions (in particular Scandinavian jurisdictions)2.) Ability to combine sound legal advice with a commercial mindset3.) Ability to review and analyze complex legal agreements, contracts, and documents with a high level of attention to detail and to negotiate and close complex deals with multiple stakeholders.4.) Proficiency in English and at least one of the Scandinavian languages.

    Nice to Have/ Your chance to grow:1.)

    Admission to the bar in one of the Scandinavian jurisdictions.2.) Prior experience with project management, including managing multiple stakeholders on a strategic level 3.) Experience with industry template contracts, e.g. Norwegian SSA-agreements4.) Ability to work in additional European languages is a benefit (primarily French or German) Employee Status :
