Pareto Shipbrokers AS are looking to expand our operations in Kristiansand, Norway. We are seeking a motivated and entrepreneurial individual to become a valued member of our dynamic shipbroker team. You will be working as a Shipbroker covering the OSV, (Offshore Support Vessels), segments. We value experience in developing and maintaining good client relationships and concluding business. Pareto Shipbrokers operate in a worldwide market with offices in Kristiansand, Guildford UK and Singapore. The Kristiansand office is the head office. Pareto Shipbrokers is a wholly owned subsidiary of Pareto AS and is an entity in the Pareto Group of companies.

The successful candidate(s) will be based in Kristiansand and will benefit from a competitive incentive-based compensation package. Partnership is also available for the right person based on proven performance.

Typical assigned tasks:

Act as intermediary between Charterers and Owners.

Assist Charterers and vessel Owners in contract negotiations.

Stay up to date with industry trends, vessel developments and positions in order to provide informed advice to Charterers and vessel Owners.

Cooperate with local and international colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.

Take part in our business development efforts, build and further develop our client portfolio.

Work individual and in team in order to contribute to business development for the group.

Skills and experience;

Experience in the industry or other relevant shipping experience is valued but other relevant experience is acknowledged.

You probably have a relevant higher education, however other relevant industry and or marine experience may be considered.

• Efficient and driven in order to keep and maintain daily contact with Charterers and Shipowners.

Knowledge of the Offshore markets, including Charterers, vessel Owners, Contractors and industry best practices is an advantage.

Industry experience with major national and international Energy companies/Charterers and Owners is desirable but not required.

Experience from research and analysis combined with extended proficiency in use of IT tools is desired.
