- Develop procedures and methods to test and qualify functional products requirements and continuously work to improve testing methods
- Develop test procedures and automated test scripts for units and systems; Perform qualifications test to verify functionality
- Qualify and test software, algorithms, and embedded systems; Be a resource for project manager and department managers in evaluating risks, timelines and challenges in projects
- Undertake analysis and investigation to solve differing, but related, problems
- Give input and suggest improvements to company best practices and tools
- Provide support and guidance to the engineering team
- Engineering Degree or Technical College within electronics, software, sensors, mechatronics or another relevant field. Lack of formal education may be compensated with relevant experience
- Proven track record in testing and test methods, solid discipline competencies within testing and software; Ability to gain solid understanding of our core technologies
- Functional and technical knowledge and skills to do the job at a high level of accomplishment; Able to work and perform in a multidisciplinary engineering team
- Ability to strengthen our team with skills within several of the following areas, team player and easy to work with; Strong focus on quality and knows what quality look like; Analytical, structured, thorough, committed, self-driven and proactive
- Proficient in verbal and written English
- Ability to lead test efforts and direct work on test activities utilizing personnel less skilled in SW test
- This function requires interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to make engineering decisions and judgements
