We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity to join our team as a
Product Advisor: Intelligent Energy Management System (iEMS)
. This role is a key part of our journey towards
Energy Transition
and the advancement of
Energy Management Systems
within the Energy business unit and Automation, Energy & Integrated Systems.

As Product Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Kongsberg' iEMS product. Your contributions will drive the development of intelligent, real-time optimization solutions aimed at achieving
sustainable and environmentally friendly operations
.

You will define the
strategic roadmap
for iEMS, integrating cutting-edge technologies such as Machine Learning and
Artificial
Intelligence, while taking a holistic approach to system design and deployment. You will also work on research projects focusing on EMS and optimization of ship operations.

You will be part of a
highly skilled and innovative team
which has been in the forefront in the industry, delivering innovative solutions to customers through advancements in the field of Energy Optimization and Control. You Will Be Responsible For
As a
Product Advisor -iEMS
, you will:

• Collaborate closely with Energy System team within the Energy business unit.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of advanced energy control solutions, including PMS, Energy Control and EMS systems,
• Support the integration of real-time optimization and intelligent control strategies,
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams.

Qualifications And Experience

• A Master's degree in Marine Technology, Cybernetics, Automation, or Control system
• Experience, interest and skillset in some of the following areas would be very valuable:
• Real-time control systems
• Power system modelling and simulation
• Optimization techniques focusing on energy efficiency
• Programming languages e.g., Python, MATLAB and proficiency in data analysis
• Strong research skills and a passion for innovation
