    As an IS Security Engineer for operations you will design, implement and manage the Customer Service Information System for the purpose of operation requirements. You will work in close collaboration with the Service Delivery Manager, and you will deal with computerized maintenance management system, IT service management system, configuration, asset and user management system.

    In this role, your key responsibilities will be to:

    § Manages day-to-day activities : services provided to internal or external Customers, support to the system, support to the IS-IT in operation

    § Continually improve the system, continually improve the IS-IT, prevent Customer issues,

    manage corrective actions:

    o collect and report on Customer technical issues Analyse problems, collect all

    relevant information and provide answers to Customer queries

    o take appropriate decisions support, propose optimization of the system configuration and ensure the necessary actions are carried out. Plan and control change

    o manage crisis situation as incident response lead and collaborate with internal and remote resources

    § Optimize Client's support:

    o define and/or complete troubleshooting procedures

    o mentor and train support staff

    § Executing Incident Response activities as Incident Manager. Participating in the detection, containment, and eradication efforts of information security incidents as well as the restauration of affected systems

    § Support updating incident response procedures and recording decisions, actions, and inputs/outputs pertaining to Incident Response where needed

    § Provide monthly status report on security incidents or events, to support the overall monthly report to the customer

    § Support to deploy patches when needed

    To be qualified for this role, you need to have the following qualifications and experience :

    § Degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science or similar

    § Min. 3 years' experience as Security Engineer or Incident Manager

    § Min. 2 years' of experience in Operations, Service Desk or Customer Support

    § Fluency in English, written and spoken

    Please also note that this position may require formal security clearance in accordance with the Norwegian Security Act (sikkerhetsloven).

    Must have qualifications:

    § Familiar with threat detection, patch management, incident response, preventive measures and playbooks and response

    § Experienced with monthly performance reporting internal as well as external

    § You are familiar with commonly used information security concepts, best practices, and standard procedures such as ITIL

    § A customer-focused balance and you recognize the need for governance

    § Excellent communication skills

    Good to have:

    § A positive attitude combined with excellent interpersonal and motivational skills

    § Experience with working across boundaries and within a matrix organization

    § You have experience with SIEM (Security Information Event Management) tools

    § Experience in other areas of Cybersecurity, such as penetration testing and Security Operation Center (SOC)
