    The demand for our Human factor and Emergency preparedness services is increasing and we are therefore seeking new team members.

    Our team has traditionally helped customers both in Norway and abroad to develop and operate safe solutions for oil and gas production, but we are currently in an energy transition phase where we are growing our expertise to newer and emerging areas such as hydrogen- and CO2 safety, ammonia, offshore wind, and offshore fish-farming.

    Working with DNV will give you a unique opportunity to become part of a large and highly competent professional network (both nationally and internationally) within safety risk management and within a wide range of technical disciplines.

    The Safety Risk Consultants are mainly located in Høvik and Trondheim and any of these offices could therefore be your workplace.

    Tasks and responsibilities:
    Below are some of the services and tasks that we would want you to contribute with:

  • Emergency Preparedness Analyses (EPA)
  • Emergency preparedness advisory
  • Human Factors Engineering (HFE)
  • Human Reliability Assessment (HRA)
  • Safety Culture Assessment
  • Planning and facilitating workshops within safety risk in general and the abovementioned services in particular
  • Project management
  • Development of commercial tenders to customers
  • As our team covers a wide range of safety studies and work closely together in projects to solve complex challenges spanning several areas of expertise, some knowledge and experience within one or more of the following topics would be an advantage:

  • Risk assessments
  • Barrier management
  • Working environment studies
  • Compliance with safety regulations and standards HSE coordination
  • Digital skills, and an interest in applying these to enhance value and efficiency of services.

  • Higher technical education (bachelor- or master's degree or equivalent) in relevant discipline (Org. Psychology, Engineering or similar)
  • Preferably some years of relevant experience working with emergency preparedness and/or the human factors discipline, but we will also consider recent graduates if you can show/document specific interest
  • Fluent in Norwegian and English both written as well as verbally
