Are you passionate designing innovative technical solutions and modifications? Do you have experience with PLC and HMI programming?

Then you should join our Field Engineering team in Asker We are a team of 7 employees that work closely together in multidisciplined teams.

We design modifications and upgrades for Drilling Fluids control systems. Our control systems connect different process related equipment into one control system, assisting our customers and operators to have a good overview and control of all the equipment and processes involved.

We have a good mix of junior and senior engineers, and we offer you the opportunity to develop and grow your engineering skills with us.

Our products are in high demand and part of our Field Engineering team, you will work closely with other technical disciplines in NOV and have contact with both customers and suppliers.

You will:

• Be a Technical resource in our projects in Aftermarket.

• Design and Program PLC- and HMI-software in our deliveries.

• Evaluate and select correct type of field instruments.

• Some design work in AutoCAD

• Technical support, internal and external

• Quality check of work done in the field by our Field Service Technicians

• Assisting in technical description for our sales group

You will have :

• Education from technical college or university within electro and/or automation. It is also an advantage if you have a Certificate of Apprenticeship

• Experience from the process or offshore industry would also be an advantage

• Experience from PLC and/or HMI programming. We use Siemens PLC and three types of HMI: HMI7, Wonderware InTouch and Siemens WinCC.

• Good communication skills in Norwegian and English.
