Fugro Norway AS - Satellite Positioning Service Line is seeking a Senior Innovation Engineer GNSS with expertise in managing a global network of reference stations and monitoring signals from various satellites to enhance the accuracy of GNSS signals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Enhance existing products and tools within Fugro Satellite Positioning
• Contribute to the development of new solutions for precise GNSS applications
• Support the advancement of algorithms and methods in the GNSS domain
• Act as a technical resource and promote GNSS expertise within the organization
• Stay updated on the latest research and advancements in GNSS and related technologies

Desired background and preferred skills:

• Experience in GNSS, particularly in Precise Point Positioning technology
• Strong knowledge of GNSS positioning algorithms, Signal Theory, error budget, and modelling
• Familiarity with Agile project management and the Scrum methodology
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis, preferably in Linux
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Qualifications required:

• Recent MSc graduate in GNSS/ Geodesy/ Telecom/ Electrical Engineering/ Space Technology
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in the GNSS/Space/Telecom/Satcom/SatPos industry
• Effective communication skills in English

Nice to have:

• Proficiency in C++ programming in a Linux environment
• Knowledge of Grafana monitoring tool
• Basic understanding of NetOps tools
• Familiarity with Kalman Filter modelling
