In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in ensuring the quality, process, delivery, innovation, and support (QCDIS) results from our procurement initiatives.

    What You Can Expect from the Role

    Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Strategic Alignment: Apply category strategies based on a deep understanding of Survitec products, processes, stakeholder needs, and business requirements.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Build effective relationships with suppliers, ensuring procurement aligns with key supplier relationship terms.
  • Innovation Support: Develop a thorough understanding of components and materials, supporting product innovation teams to identify, cost, and source materials within budget.
  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate technical solutions, innovate alternative solutions, and optimize the New Product Development process with suppliers.
  • Data Analysis: Collate, analyse, and present data findings using appropriate software and techniques, supporting decision-making processes.
  • Commodity Strategy Integration: Work with Commodity Managers to embed commodity strategy into procurement projects.
  • Cost Analysis and Forecasting: Provide accurate cost analysis and forecasting for overall bill of materials to support business as usual production processes.
  • Supplier Performance Monitoring: Analyse supplier category performance and provide accurate overviews and deep dive analyses to Commodity Managers.
  • Procurement Process Management: Manage procurement processes through to award, securing the best possible terms and prices.
  • Reporting Optimization: Streamline and optimize reporting activity, rationalizing reporting and dashboard requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Maintain a database of improvement ideas, prioritize and select ideas, and drive effective mobilization and change management.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Support stakeholder engagement through actions, meetings, events, and supporting materials to promote understanding and commitment.
  • The Experience, Qualifications and Skills You Will Have

    Essential Criteria:

  • University Degree level education, ideally in an engineering discipline.
  • Experience, enabling dealing with most situations and advising others.
  • Managerial experience coordinating the work of others, proving useful in this role.
  • Effective planning and prioritization skills.
  • Collaboration and partnership-building skills.
  • Ability to address difficult issues with confidence.
  • Resource management skills for securing and deploying resources effectively.
  • Proficiency in interpreting and applying financial indicators for better business decisions.
  • Knowledge of business-building digital and technology applications.
  • Focus on continuous improvement and efficiency in processes.
