    Sales Engineer Offshore (Norsk versjon finner du lavere)

    The purpose of the role is to deliver sustainable profitable growth for Atlas Copco Rental Norway Offshore business The rental sales engineer will use product technical knowledge along with sales skills to provide advice and support on a range of ACR Rental products, You will assist colleagues with bids and tenders for new and existing offshore clients from a technical perspective.

    Here's what you'll be responsible for:

  • You will identity current and future customer service requirements.
  • You will enlarge our client portfolio by identifying potential customers through cold calling.
  • You will prepare cost estimates by studying P&ID, Project plans, and related customer documents.
  • You will analyse cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies or service applications.
  • You will keep your technical knowledge up-to-date by attending e.g. educational workshops.

    • What talents will you need to be successful?

  • You have mechanical education at higher professional degree, bachelor level or master level, or equivalent by experience with at least 3 to 5 years of experience.
  • We appreciate you having an understanding of compressed air and power systems but this is certainly not a must have.
  • You are able to creatively explain and present complex concepts in an easy to understand manner.
  • You have a solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in O&G rental air compressor solutions and O&G rental market.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Norwegian
  • Willingness to travel (20 to 30 %).
  • You are a real teamplayer who likes to share knowledge with colleagues.
  • You are a sales driven professional who can work independently and can come up with your own action plan.
  • Our depot is in Stavanger, but the location of our customers is the most important place where you will operate from. This role is a hybrid role, which means that you can also work from home.

    Vi søker Salgsingeniør til vårt kontor i Stavanger som vil være med å levere en bærekfrftig lønnsom vekst for Atlas Copco Rental Norway Offshore-virksomhet. Salgsingeniøren for utleie vil bruke produktteknisk kunnskap sammen med salgskunnskap for å gi råd og støtte på en rekke ACR Rental-produkter. Du vil bistå kollegaer med bud og anbud for nye og eksisterende offshore-kunder fra et teknisk perspektiv.

    Arbeidsoppgaver

  • Du vil identifisere nåværende og fremtidige kundeservicekrav.
  • Du vil utvide vår kundeportefølje ved å identifisere potensielle kunder gjennom cold calling.
  • Du vil utarbeide kostnadsoverslag ved å studere P&ID, prosjektplaner og relaterte kundedokumenter.
  • Du vil analysere kostnad-nytte-forhold for utstyr, rekvisita eller tjenesteapplikasjoner.
  • Du vil holde din tekniske kunnskap oppdatert ved å delta på intern og ekstern opplæring

    • Ønskede kvalifikasjoner

  • Høyere mekanisk utdanning på fagskole nivå, bachelor- eller master-nivå, kandidat med tilsvarende erfaring innen vårt segment vil også bli vurdert.
  • Det vil være en fordel om du har forståelse for trykkluft- og kraftsystemer.
  • Selvgående, kremmerånd og løsningsorientert. Være istend til å utarbeide markeds- og aktivitetsplan for din produktgruppe.
  • Planlegge og gjennomføre salgsaktiviteter over hele landet. Reisevirksomhet ca 20-30%.
  • Du er en salgsdrevet fagperson som kan jobbe selvstendig og kan komme opp med din egen handlingsplan.
  • Du er en ekte lagspiller som liker å dele kunnskap med kolleger.
  • God kjennskap til PC som arbeidsverktøy
  • Må beherske Norsk og Engelsk flytende, muntlig/skriftlig.
  • Førerkort personbil
  • Vårt depot er i Stavanger, men plasseringen til våre kunder er det viktigste stedet du skal operere fra. Denne rollen er en hybridrolle, noe som betyr at du også kan jobbe hjemmefra.
