    Job Purpose

One Services Tooling (OST) supports our Subsea Services business worldwide. The OST was recently established in November 2023 to enhance the governance on Services tooling regarding standards, processes, and asset management. The primary aim of OST is to promote tool reusability and sharing, ensure tooling integrity, and ensure flawless execution. To facilitate the OST implementation, a Strategic Planner role is being created to oversee and maintain the Master Schedule/Long-Range Plan (LRP) for high-level activities involving Services Tooling. The Master Schedule/LRP acts as the comprehensive plan that outlines the activity level towards customers and contracts, as well as the commitment pace. It aids in aligning sequence and priority within the operational execution organization for all committed work, while also providing forecast information for Long-Range operational business planning. By examining activities at a high level, the Strategic Planner can promptly identify conflicting demands and collaborate on mitigation strategies with the remainder of the organization.

    Job Description
    • Responsible for managing and updating the Master Schedule for OST-related activities based on the Service centers' updates from ongoing operations, customer rig and vessel schedules, MMR commitments, and forecast plans
    • Collaborate with applicable Service Centers to maintain the plan in line with the latest forecast information and the monthly Service Demand Report
    • Analyze demand versus supply and propose mitigation actions promptly
    • Work with the project/operation organization to include the latest client rig and vessel plans, client refurbishment plans, ongoing backlog status, and Book-and-Turn forecast in the Master Schedule
    • Ensure the execution and functional organization adhere to the overall plan
    • Identify demand not passing through Service Centers and integrate it into the Master Schedule/LRP
    • Act as the OST representative in the Global Strategic Planning Network for Subsea Service
    • Visualize the demand plan versus supply plan for meetings and discussions relating to mitigation actions
    • Serve as the point of contact from the OST for digital development related to Strategic planning
    • Communicate and visualize the plan to internal and external stakeholders
You are ideal for this position if:
    • Skills:Demonstrated analytical skills and a business mindset. Good collaboration and communication skills. Management skills, including problem-solving and providing recommendations for escalation. Ability to work independently and take the lead. Proactive in identifying and initiating improvement potentials in processes and systems.
    • Competencies:Experience with planning processes and applications related to demand and capacity planning. Sound understanding of business processes. Familiarity with LEAN thinking principles.
    • Expected Leadership Behavior:Act as a change leader, visionary, and influencer even in uncertain situations. Foster collaboration and integration across various sites and regions. Apply problem-solving skills to create structure and simplify complexity. Empower and motivate team members, acknowledging their accomplishments. Maintain a strong focus on customer value.
    Practicalities
    • Place of work: Kongsberg, Ågotnes, Houston, and Macae
    • Application deadline: by May 17th, 2024
