BIM manager – E39 Norway – Civil Engineering - Kristiansand, Agder

Job summary

We are strengthening our international team and have recently won the contract to build the new section of the E18-E39 motorway in Kristiansand, Norway. The aim of the contract is to increase the capacity of the main interchange providing access to the city centre and port activities of the country's 6th largest city.

Responsibilities

• Compliance: Ensure that the data collected from the models comply with the regulatory context, accepted by the stakeholders, meets the needs of the systematic completion
• Compliance: Ensure the implementation and compliance of as-built metadata in the as-built models
• Understand the project WBS and the Client coding to perform data merging for Systematic Completion
• Compliance: Ensure that the CDE complies with the BIM Execution Plan, BIM manual and all relevant documentation
• Coordination with Surveyor department: retrieve as-built material and manage as-built metadata
• Coordination with Design: retrieve design metadata (Project Information Model) and gather as-built metadata
• Monitor Data production progress and report to the Technical Lead
• Control: self-control of his/her production (metadata, objects, etc)
• Implement tools for metadata and coding control
• Manage Metadata, codifications, including as-built information and share to client and internally the information to ensure a smooth and efficient systematic completion
• Coordination of CDE: manages transmittal, receival and follow-up of 3D models, design documentation, as-built documentation towards execution team and other departments, and delivery to the client of as-built models (Asset Information Model)
