YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Mechanical design of steel structures, assemblies, components and prepare technical documentation according to technical department procedures, customer requirements, international standards Checking of mechanical drawings, documentation according to technical department procedures Prepare / support project department during preparing technical documentation related to mechanical structures, assemblies and components Technical clarifications with suppliers, producers of mechanical components, steel structure during purchasing process Technical support of steel production Technical support of service engineers during their service assignment or commissioning Technical support of after sales YOUR QUALIFICATIONS Minimum - 5 years' experience in Mechanical Engineering, but newly graduates are encouraged to apply Experience from development and production of lifting equipment is desirable, but not required Mechanical Engineer or Civil Engineer with MSc or BCs degree Relevant experience from similar position and proven good technical understanding may compensate for lack of formal education Practical use of design tools like ACAD and Inventor or similar 3 D software are required Good English skills, verbal and written WE OFFER This is an interesting, diversified and challenging job for the hands-on and professional candidate Flexible working hours We work as friendly, diverse and international team with open door policy We believe in knowledge development by providing courses and opportunities to work with cutting edge technology Attractive location in Bergen You have the chance to be part of the fast-growing PALFINGER MARINE family
