    In ACT we have developed a scalable mobile marketplace for sustainable grocery shopping, with infinitely scalable database and Netflix-based architecture, which will empower the consumers to start shopping sustainably almost overnight, with just a few clicks in the ACT app. Just imagine what can happen when the money changes direction towards producers who respect the environment and treat their workers well Do you want to be a part of this?

    Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop and build applications for the iOS platform
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Collaborate with a team to define, design, and release new features
  • Integration of user-facing elements developed with server-side logic
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automation

    • Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience building iOS mobile and/or web products including submitting previously approved products in iTunes App Store
  • expertise in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from Concept and Design to Testing
  • Understanding of what apps can do and what can happen if they become deeply life integrated tools
  • hands-on experience from Agile/Scrum development process and code reviews
  • strong understanding of and experience with the core principles of software craftsmanship
  • used to transforming business requirements into flexible, robust software architecture
  • strong knowledge of iOS development on different screen sizes, (different mobile and tablet sizes)
  • strong knowledge of iOS UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
  • experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
  • ability to design applications around natural user interfaces, such as "touch"
  • familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
  • knack for benchmarking and optimization
