    We are looking for someone who wants a stimulating and varied job, in an industry which has taken Norway by storm? Siemens Gamesa have overtaken several wind parks in Norway, which needs maintenance and upkeep. For this reason, we are looking for a skilled engineering technician who wishes to help create a more sustainable future.

    How to contribute to our vision .

    You will be responsible for service and maintenance of wind turbines at our customers' wind farms.

    As a service technician at Siemens Gamesa, you will be one of our integral parts in the upkeep of production time for our customers.

    Together with your skilled team, you will be responsible for service and maintenance of our wind parks, and much of the daily work will be on-site of various mechanical and electrotechnical tasks. A high amount of the workload will be set during the summer, while you will use the snowmobile in winter period for pro-active, as well as needed maintenance tasks. This can be both repairs changing of components and more.

    The conditions at our sites this far north can be harsh at times, internal training for harsh winter conditions is mandatory for all personnel.

    You need to be comfortable working high above ground and in tight spaces. We advise that you need approved offshore health test at second round of interview.

    You get the chance to use your knowledge in electricity and mechanics where you independently solve problems on site to ensure high operational reliability and provide excellent service to our customers.

    You will be supporting our customers both remotely and onsite and coordinate service operations and resolve product issues. This includes carrying out improvement measures and modifications.

    You are responsible for reporting and documentation of your work, including supervising, coordinating and follow up jobs performed by subcontractors.

    What you need to make a difference

    Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. You have a flexible schedule and have a driving license B, as you will be driving to our different sites.

    If you get offered the position, you will be getting a health check and a drug test before you start.

    You can communicate clearly both in Norwegian and English, and you preferably already live in the area or are ready to move to the region. We also see that you...

  • Performs mainly pre-defined, technical tasks (for example, basic commissioning of products and systems, integration of components to a system, basic engineering, maintenance jobs) and work packages on-site and remotely.
  • Supports customer remotely and onsite and provides 2nd and 3rd level user support in case of arising issues.
  • Coordinates and accomplishes defined service operations and/or resolves product issues for customers equipment.
  • Supports in generating sales leads for pre-defined service offers and contributes to planning activities.
  • Adheres to defined processes and applicable regulations.
  • You will also need one of the following qualifications:

  • Energy Technician
  • Electrician with certificate group-L
  • Energy Operator
  • Wind Technician
  • It will be an advantage to have driver's license for forklift, snow mobile, and trailer.

    Interest and skills in the use of digital platforms and tools.

    If you have experience from industrial plants or knowledge of hydraulic plants? We highly recommend you apply for this position.
