- Assist sales team with bid coordination, programs development, and capability requirements.
- Advise on, control, and facilitate product documentation, including requirements from naval customers.
- Assist product management and life cycle support.
- Initiation, product leadership, verification, and validation of product improvements and developments
- A bachelor's degree or higher.
- Experience from relevant industry is beneficial. Marine and maritime industries are of relevance, as well as other industries creating complex technical solutions consisting of mechanical, electronics/HW, and software development.
- Experience from naval industry is beneficial, either through a supplier or a purchasing/logistics organization.
- You are adept at using product management IT tools, or eager to learn such tools.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English. Fluency in spoken and written Norwegian is beneficial.

Join the Uncrewed Platforms division in Kongsberg Discovery as a Product Advisor. Kongsberg Discovery is a global marine technology company providing innovative and reliable solutions. In the Uncrewed Platforms division, we design, manufacture, and sell autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) that can explore the oceans from the surface and down to 6000 meters below, uncrewed surface vessels (USVs), as well as support systems and engineering projects. Our systems can operate alone for days and weeks at a time, collecting data about the seafloor and the water.
What you will be working on
As a Product Advisor you will contribute to the management of our portfolio of products and their life cycle. Your tasks will vary from managing products and related documentation, technical sales and programs support, follow-up and oversight of development efforts, acting as a product subject matter expert, and bridging between sales, engineering, customers, and production teams. Our growing portfolio of naval clients and projects, and their related documentation requirements, is part of what you will focus on. You will join the Product department which consists of a dedicated group of people responsible for all Uncrewed Platforms products. To succeed in this position, we believe you need to take initiative, be cooperative, responsible, structured, and quality minded. The position requires some travel, e.g., to conferences, customer visits, and exhibitions. You might occasionally join our operators and customers in the field.
