The Telenor Group Technology organization is looking fora VP Innovation , as part of the Research and Innovationteam that is instrumental to our technology development in becoming a fully data and AI-driventelco. As an industry front runner, we explore and use leading telecommunication, cloud, and AI technologies to create solutions for modernizing our business, driving growth and impactful customer experience. Working across our Business Areas in the Nordics and Asia, our infrastructure and adjacent businesses, Group Technology and R&I teamhas a key roleinenabling future growth models with global industrypartners.

AsHead of Innovation Unitin TelenorR&I, you will lead a team of research-minded data scientists and network engineers,driving change and creating value. You willbe responsible for building innovation pipelines and accelerating innovation adoption inbusiness jointly with our partners and Telenor business units.

Preferred experience and qualifications:

To thrive and excel in this role, you should havea recordofbuilding value-generatingtechnology innovationsin industry. You are a transformative leader and a good coach, with capabilities ofbuilding innovation culture and driving change in organizations. You have hands-on experience in building softwareproducts and leading R&D teamsin business (e.g., data science, AI teams), complemented by strong interpersonalskills.

We expect good communication skills, combined with a strong ability to collaborate, and build trust with colleagues and external stakeholders. You are sharing knowledge with others, capable of adapting to new challenges and learning fast, anddemonstrating an ability to get things done.

You have higher education, preferably with a master's degree in computer science, software engineering, physics, telecommunications,or similar.
