A little about myself, I am a masters student pursuing my Masters in Applied Computer and Information Technology - Cloud based Services and Operations from Olso Metropolitan University, Olso. I have experience in IT for more than 4 years working in different domains; starting with Cybersecurity in Wipro Technologies, then worked as an Associate Network Engineer in Fidelity Investments and then as a DevOps Engineer with Mojocare.

Currently I am looking for any part-time jobs or internships in the IT related fields.

At Mojocare, I successfully managed Jenkins CI/CD automation pipelines for the staging environment, leading to a 30% reduction in manual testing efforts. I took charge of developing a logging and monitoring platform utilizing Grafana Loki for the production environment, resulting in quicker issue resolution and enhanced security through improved access controls. By adopting open source solutions like Huginn and Airbyte in place of paid services such as Zapier and HevoData, I effectively cut down costs by over 40%. Moreover, I established an end-to-end database backup and restore pipeline, facilitating data infrastructure for the data platforms team and automating reporting processes while eliminating reliance on Excel sheets. To enhance security, I revamped permissions and access controls on GitHub, mitigating accidental merge/push occurrences and bolstering overall security measures.

Being a pivotal member of Fidelity's Advanced Network Services team, oversaw the intricate global network infrastructure. This involved handling and resolving issues related to perimeter security network devices like Juniper and Checkpoint firewalls, Bluecoat proxy, F5/AVI load balancers, and Cisco/HP/Arista routers & switches. I also managed the system administration of network device logging and monitoring platforms, specifically DxNetOps & NNMi. Furthermore, I demonstrated innovation by creating a Python-based hybrid cloud web application, streamlining network device discovery and significantly reducing monthly manual efforts by 15 hours.

In the role of External Cyber Security consultant at Vestas Wind Systems, I effectively oversaw a sizable production environment comprising around 25,000 endpoints. My responsibilities encompassed security patch management and deploying the McAfee Enterprise Suite for enhanced protection. To optimize operational efficiency, I created a PowerShell script for automated McAfee Agent deployment, resulting in an impressive 80-hour reduction in monthly manual efforts. In addition, I played a key role in knowledge transfer sessions, educating non-technical users on essential security awareness and best practices.

Currently I am pursuing my Masters in Applied Computer & Information Technology - Cloud based Services and Operations from Oslo Metropolitan University. I did my bachelors in Electronics & Communication Engineering back in India from 2015-2019.
